Jag har ett USB-mikroskop från Kjell & Co, av deras märke Plexgear. Länk till produktsidan.
Det följer med en CD som installerar:
Drivrutin: Digital Microskope version 300.1000.3001.29
Programvara: MicroCapture 2.0 (OBS: I "Lägg till / Ta bort program" står det version 2.5 ...)
Båda är lite buggiga och mikroskopet har funktioner som inte programvaran stödjer.
I alla program som klarar TWAIN-kompatibla enheter (t.ex Photoshop) kan man justera
vitbalans, exponering, upplösning, uppdateringshastighet, mm.
Men det är lite jobbigt att starta Photoshop varje gång.
Dessutom verkar inställningarna tappas ibland.
Var och varannan gång så tappar dessutom mikroskopet kontakten med mjukvaran.
Så jag började utforska detta mer.

Till Linux finns hur mycket som helst om hur man använder kameror med detta chip,
men till Windows är det nästan tomt.
Men med infon i kodrutorna borde man väl kunna göra ett eget Windows-program som gör det möjligt att ändra inställningarna?
Problemet är att jag just nu inte har en aning om hur man ändrar dessa register.
Här skulle jag vilja ha lite hjälp.
