Husqvarna Opal Plus - condenser problem?

Hi, sorry I'm an American in Oslo just learning Norwegian and am only getting by with English at the moment.
I have the above Husqvarna Opal Plus refrigerator, just moved into a new apartment and the condenser does not seem to be starting.
The electrics seem to work fine, light on the door turns on, the auto/manual functions seem to work properly, but the condenser never kicks in to start cooling.
Is there a fuse in system possibly that I can check?
It was given to me by a friend and I have no manual for it.
Any thoughts and advice, much appreciated!
Sincerely, Ian in Oslo.

Welcome to the forum!
I think you are talking about the compressor, not the condenser. If you are careful you could check for (mains) voltage at the compressor terminals. The thermostat is probably the best place to start with, though. In the olden days it was simply a switch in the mains line to the compressor, but maybe that is different in modern fridges.
Be careful with the mains voltage---it is lethal even in small doses.

Post model and pruductnumber here. "Husqvarna Opal Plus" dosen't say anything.
I think it should start with 927..........
You find it on the sticker (plate) inside on the left side.

What does the display show?
Check if there is 230V to the compressor between blue and grey cable.
(the grey cable can also be black)
If there's no voltage to the compressor you have problem with the power board.

Thanks, that's great. I'll get at it and let you know.

Ok. When I test between the brown & blue, I get 240v. And the same when I test between the brown and black (grey) 240v.
So, does this indeed sound like a blown Power Board? And if so, where can I get a replacement board close to Oslo? I have not had any luck tracking down the dealer for these in this area.
Many thanks, Ian

I donät think so, since you have power to the compressor but it doesn't run. That would point to a broken compressor (or, perhaps more likely, a blown starter relay/overtemperature protection device).

What voltage do you have between BLUE and BLACK(grey) cable?
Why didn't you test between blue and black(grey) like i said?

What does the display show on the Visualisation Board?

ZERO between the blue & black(grey).
The display only has 1 led. When I first turn it on, I get " - " in the display.
In the Auto Cool function, it displays an "A."
Otherwise, I get the numbers 1 - 9 when I adjust the C up and down.

Ok. You have problem with the power board.
It should look like this:

...but whitout the black trafocard on the left (it's for the fan version).
A new power board cost's 1125:-Svkr inkl. tax
I dont know your skills in testing components. You could test the components between
triac(Q3),relay(K1) and the CPU.
It uses triac to start the compressor and then the relay for the drift.

Argh! How do I upload jpg's to the forum.
The control board is similar, but different.
Would need an 5minute education to identify the Q3, K1, CPU areas.
