Eller att de köps upp av ytterligare någon annan och båda varumärkena förvinner. Ägaren Datwyler tröttnade och insåg att deras dist-gren var för liten för att kunna tjäna pengar och sålde till ett Tyskt riskkapitalbolag.

"On 16 March 2020 Datwyler closed the sale of the distribution companies Distrelec and Nedis, which was announced on 23 December 2019. The antitrust authorities approved the transaction without imposing any restrictions. Thus, all terms of the contract have been fulfilled and the German Aurelius has become the owner of all companies of Distrelec and Nedis. The parties agreed not to disclose the details of the transac-tion. For the sale of Reichelt, Datwyler takes the time to evaluate further options to optimise value."

"The divestment of Distrelec and Nedis will result in a loss for the Datwyler Group of some CHF 670 million, which will have no impact on liquidity. This amount comprises mainly goodwill and the realisation of the cumulative currency translation differences of the foreign companies disposed of. At over 50%, the equity ratio will still be very solid after the transaction has been concluded. Datwyler therefore has excellent financial resources for implementing the growth strategy defined."
